I’m with Hunter I’m going with the old war horse to prevail again mostly due to Whyte more bark than bite! I will be betting on line DraftKings watch out.

Povetkin's legs are completely gone but the skill gap is still ridiculously huge between him and Whyte. I don't think Povetkin was even hurt when Whyte knocked him down twice in that first fight; I just think he doesn't have his legs under him anymore. He looked slow, unbalanced, weak on his feet from the get go. But despite that he was able to set the trap and connect with the punch that Whyte has proven to be most vulnerable to in his career: the uppercut.
I think his brain gets him through this one again with the same result. He's going to knock Whyte out again because Whyte is just too rudimentary.Slowhand likes this.

Tough one to pick. To me Povetkin did not look hurt in between rounds after being dropped twice & the uppercut wasn’t a lucky shot. He said it would be there before the fight & it was. Whyte was boxing well but in my opinion it wasn’t as one sided as many said. Sure it was a bad 4th round for Sasha but prior to that he was landing his own punches. Povetkin is 41 & his skills could diminish at any time. I suspect Povetkin’s next loss will be his last fight. I still have this a close fight & it is hard to pick a winner. A second loss would really set Whyte back but due to his popularity & his name he will always be in big fights much like Chisora. Does Povetkin have one last run in him? If he wins he will have to wait until 2022 before he would get his shot.

Now I think Whyte will fight scared in the rematch, and that will give the edge to Povetkin, who will come out guns blazing. The only way he can lose is if he gases out before Whyte does.
