You need to read and fully comprehend what I just wrote man.

Let's take a closer look at Spence's resume. He basically with life and death with Brook, and had Brook not fought GGG prior I think he probably loses that fight, then If not for the KD against Porter that fight was a draw. His best performances came against guy's that had their best days at lightweight, and If we're being completely transparent and honest here, Spence is really a middleweight. He competed and started his boxing career north of 147lbs and had to gradually shrink down to 147. He's actually naturally bigger than quite a few guy's at 154.

Now taken all that into account with him now being reluctant to face a guy that came up from LW, 135lbs and unified and won titles all the way up to 147 in TC, a guy that's already older than him and has been calling for a fight with Spence for over a year now is a big part of why Crawford is mentioned in the top 5.

Now you call it comical, but I'd like to see you lace up the gloves and win titles in 3 diff weight classes because then I think you'd have a lot more respect after realizing just how difficult that is regardless of who the opponents are. It's easy for us to sit behind comp screen and talk that BS but weight is weight and it's not easy to just move up and beat heavier guy's like that.. I know this just from having scraps in the streets, let alone getting in the ring and going 12 rds lol

That's what came out of Ortiz's mouth, I don't know If he misspoke or what, but he clearly said he wanted to fight hooker at 140lbs and gave him props for taking the fight at 147. Go back and watch if you missed it..

It’s comical how someone with such weak resume is mentioned within the top 5 p4p I stand behind that 100% but some fighters Are So hyped by the media people start believing it.

Considering ortiz has a pulse, yes.. it is foolish

Ortiz looked sloppier than normal. You can tell he came out with no respect for the smaller hooker in the first few rounds. Hooker is a tough sob but the size advantage was just too much to not make a diff. Ortiz is a heavy ww on top of all that

ortiz should focus more on boxing, this come forward style isnt as effective and he looked to get buzzed a few times by maurice. Against a bigger/stronger we it's not gonna work. I've seen him box beautifully in the past, he should stick to that and pick his spots to mix it up

But's that's just the thing. It's not just media hype. Pro boxers been praising TC for years. As I recall, 1st it was Bradley from his sparring exp with him when Crawford was relatively unknown, then Mayweather, I guess he seen the skills TC possessed and then now, even the younger gen like Shakur Stevenson who should know skills when he see's them given his amateur background. So resume is one thing, but you also have to look closer at the guy's actual boxing skills an abilities and listen when other boxer's start giving him recognition as well.

and although Floyd did give Spence his props too, 1st thing he noted when Spence had trouble getting fights is how Spence is a big guy that probably needs to move up anyway lol so I don't see how you can say TC doesn't deserve to be top 5 after winning titles in 3 diff classes but Spence does after his struggles with guys more his size and reluctance to face an older guy that came from 135lbs.

and like I said even Floyd's resume wasn't all that great until after he beat Del La Hoya at 30 years old, then turned around and went to schooling guy's 10 years his junior in his mid 30s.. but he was always top 5 p4p as well the whole time, more so due to his accomplishments, not his resume. Floyd has never even been an underdog in a fight...

He's 22 years old and still has a relatively slim frame, If Ramirez and Taylor can make 140 at 5'10ish I have no doubt in my mind a young guy like Ortiz can if he wanted to.. Otherwise he wouldn't have said it..

Sounded like to me he was saying he wanted to fight Maurice Hooker at 140lbs when they both campaigned there a couple of years ago.

That's possible I mean I don't know why he would move down to 140lbs anyway but I also think he could make it if he wanted to, he's not quite as big as he thinks he is imo..
