Hooker is a big ass 140lb fighter I have no doubt he's far more comfortable at WW.

Ortiz is a very good prospect but he needs too tighten a few things up for me. He's still a kid yet to develop his man strength. He isn't close to being ready for Bud or Spence.
I think he should stay busy against some decent durable opposition if possible then maybe target someone like Ugas long before being matched with the elite. Sure he can fight them now, lose and come again but I'd rather he was built up the right way & in learning fights giving him the best chance possible of beating them and becoming a star as he has a seriously fan friendly style & might fight with the most intensity I've seen since Mike Tyson, for real.

18 months with a trainer that teaches defense like Reyneso and in with some durable, good quality operators like Ugas before he is ready for the big boys. There is no rush, he's 22.

I gave Hooker 1 round, btw. I think the people giving Hooker 2 rounds were being swayed by the commentators who were very nice to Hooker. It for sure wasn't a dead-even fight where Ortiz struggled. It was more a learning fight where Ortiz had to figure out a saavy veteran who would easily be a top win for Crawford.
