I was thinking that too. I like Tanajara and think he's a solid fighter but not sure he has the style or the pop that is Machado's kryptonite. I doubt it would have been this exciting either...

If Machado isn't going to make a change in his skill set to be a little more patient with his opponents then he should hang them up because that glass chin can destroy your life. 30 year old young men shouldn't be gettin KO'd on a regular basis. 3 times in 4 fights? It's time to have a serious talk with your family

Damn man Machado offensively is an exciting and amazing fighter but he can’t seem to take damage well. I really feel for him cuz he has so much talent just sucks he just one of those guys who can’t take one as good as he gives. Verdejo and him must be related. Where’s that Puerto Rican toughness guys like Tito, macho and cotto (pre Margarito) had?

Ever since Andy ran AJ back across the globe, it's been a Mexican golden age. Not that it was bad before, but now they're winning left and right. Andy and the video, they're boxing better to go with their hooking.

If Ruiz is taking it seriously this time he will be a hand full for anyone at HW

Definitely seems like it! I was at his fight in 2017 against Jezzrel Corrales and he looked impressive that night. He now looks finished as a top threat!

That main event was a blast. One of the more exciting and unpredictable bouts I have seen in a while. Going to keep an eye on Fierro. That fight was won on pure guts.

OMG! Machado dominated the early rounds and was clearly ahead in the scorecards until he crashed and burned. Erick Morales said Angel Fierro needs a knock out and that's what he did. Like I said OMG

I think that's the fight that let me know Machado was a knockout waiting to happen Corrales was winning that fight Machado just landed a good shot and the ref stopped it but Corrales had Machado hurt plenty of times and dropped him as well. Machado has a great right hook that 2nd one would've knocked out most he just doesn't have the resistance to go rounds he was used to getting people out early with his power.
