        • My first time watching the Ring City series and I have to say I was impressed with the card. First fight between Gonzalez and Martinez was entertaining and the main event was top notch. Machado always fun to watch, you know he's going to hurt his opponent and still may lose by KO.

          • Damn, I fell asleep lol. I wake up to see Fierro giving a post-fight speech.

P.R. can't catch a ****ing break. Machado is a glass cannon.

            • I was a bit concerned for machado when I seen they gave him a Mexican who can crack and only one disputed loss

              • I'm sure what we got tonight was much better than the original fight they had planned with Hector Tanajara. Fun stuff.

That’s what their business model is. Making entertaining match ups and fights that matter. They’re supposed to feature up and coming boxers in their prime who maybe aren’t the most well known guys and boxers who’s promoters weren’t able to secure their boxers with contracts with FOX, ESPN, Showtime, or DAZN. So Ring City gives these boxers a chance to get airtime they might not otherwise have gotten and they’re actually fighting for something so it feels like they have more at stake.

Hearn was talking about doing that but you know how it is I’m boxing the ones that end up being elite kinda pop out of nowhere.
