You're entitled to judge greatness based off of "official cards" even if they do reek of corruption and are wrong. That's your right. Just like it's my right to tell you what I saw happen that night, which is also what the overwhelming majority of boxing fans saw. That Gonzalez was the better man. It may be a fact that Estrada officially is 1-1, but it's also a fact that almost all credible boxing experts and fans say that Gonzalez won.

Fans and experts were appalled by the wide scorecard, not by Estrada winning. Don’t get it twisted. Had that card been something like 115-113 people would’ve just viewed it as a close win by Estrada. The truth of the matter is that the fight was close enough that it could’ve went either way and the judges gave some of the close rounds to Estrada. Now, had either man dominated the fight and the other had won then it’d be a robbery. If choco had busted Estradas face up (like Cuadras did to him )then it’d be a different story. It was close and Estrada is the official Victor and rightfully so.

I didn't say they were appalled by Estrada wining, but that doesn't change that the overwhelming majority scored it for Gonzalez. It was a close competitive fight but Gonzalez clearly and obviously won 6 rounds which means it should have been a draw at least. I gave him 8 and I think most people either gave him 7 or 8.

Sucre's scorecard should be placed in the trash bin, and the fight declared a Draw or No Contest, that's the only justice that could come of this. NOBODY sees Sucre's card as anything close to how the fight happened.

I agree, that's what needs to happen to all these fights with corrupt scorecards like this. You can't trust the integrity of any of the judges when there's at least one judge who turns in such an obviously corrupt scorecard.
