If there's nothing better on I'll watch it but damned if I'm not thrilled to catch this fight.

Its just utter shyte isn't it. There is a long time between GRJ fights, that's plenty of time to make a good one.

But we know they just get him out, dust him off, make some cheap money on an easy PPV defence then box him back up until next time

GRJ is hilarious. Literally sits out just for his mandatory match up and in recent times has ended up catching some pretty difficult opponents who are risks that come with low reward. Dude really fought Jojo Diaz and King Tug and now is fighting Vargas. Good competition but Vargas may stink out the joint and make it ugly and win a decision. The fact he hasn't been able to get ONE marquee fight with the PBC is baffling. Mentions all names and ends up getting nobody.

That guy gave a pretty decent account of himself to be fair. Maybe Gary well squeeze in a second fight this year.

He did, but it's hard to say whether it's more of a credit to him or a knock on Gary.
