This isn't a bad thing. Joel Diaz got a payday for going through the motions, and preparing a lamb for the slaughter. The fight was a non-event. These people should be made to feel uncomfortable with the tripe they are serving up to the public!

I called this when they stopped the fight. They had a parade in Turkey for this fight before that fight like Yildrim had won. It is not like Yildrim fought his way to this spot and was a deserving contender. It was an embarrassing showing that will stick with him the rest of his career. Yildrim froze and that was not Diaz's fault.

That’s crazy. Why blame the trainer instead of the organization who let him maintain a mandatory status despite losing his last fight and not fighting for two years. Or maybe the guy who colluded with the organization to have as easy route to unify two belts and decided that a 50-1 underdog was the first mandatory he’d finally agree to face in his whole career. That fight was a crime, could’ve seriously caused Yidilgrim to get badly hurt and everyone who played a role in making it happen is to blame.
