Parker is joining Andy Lee at Kronk, it's a good move for him.

A new trainer isn't going to make a blind bit of difference if Parker continues to ignore their strategy once the bell rings.
Well said my man, couldn't have put it better myself. Rumours are he's going with Andy Lee. Is that Andy Lee the former British MW? Seems like an odd match-up at first glance. I was thinking Parker would go with McGuigan, though that's incompatible with Parker's wish to remain in NZ.

Besides Barry, Are there any great trainers cut from the old cloth in the land of the long white cloud?

The thing was the rematch clause Ruiz had a flat rate of 12 million in the contract. He played a little hard ball & the pot got sweetened. He had to pay Parker more to get him over to england for unification. He made $18 million. Hell they gave Charles Martin 8 or 9 million to hand his IBF belt to Joshua. Parker/AJ was 2 undefeated fights in a title unification bout. With no rematch clause.
