Why don't you like GRJ as a opponent? I think that's a more compelling fight.

For all GRJ's whining he's still a name & guy folks are invested in to some degree cuz of how long he's had some eyes on him. Barrios is just a random guy with a belt to most people

It's not that I don't like Russell. He's a good boxer. There'll be a million excuses after he beats Gary: size, inactivity, age, etc. I wanna see how Gervonta does against a much bigger, confident, and relentless guy like Barrios, instead. Also, undefeated, young, and fresh.

      No disrespect to Gary.

Russel's a good featherweight but c'mon Davis holds belts at 130 and 135 for cripes sake. Time to take out the pacifier and see what he could do.

I'm no fan of Tank but this is an intriguing fight. I'll support it.

I know you are not. You are a boxing fan, tho, and know what's up. For me, there isn't a better fight. I'd also take Nakatani or Loma as a second choice, after Loma has a tune up.

I know for sure that he'd impress. Nobody has pushed Davis to the limit before and make him dig deeper. I expect Barrios to do that.

I'll give a good match up credit if I believe it to be one. Barrios is a big guy. I think Davis is trying to test himself here so I gotta respect that.

Mario is a tough guy with Mexican pride and guts. He'll do his best, but Gervonta will be too much for him. He'll be a live underdog as long as it lasts.
