Thanks for bring up Taylor. If the Barrios fight happens, the next target is Taylor, if he wins his fight. Otherwise, he'll go down to 135. Barrios is kinda tough tune up. There's bad blood between Davis and Taylor. I don't think the Barrios fight is for nothing. Floyd wants to have that fight in the UK. Another fight that will sell a stadium there.

Isn't Josh talking about moving to 147 post-JCR? Even if he doesn't move up immediately I suspect its coming in short order not unlike Teo's move to 140. Well, Taylor is overrated in the UK, and his fans will eat anything. I think he's a big name in Ireland and the UK. With the addition of Davis, you have a big event. UK fans are familiar with Davis. Floyd seems to want to explore that side of the pond. In the US, Taylor is virtually unknown.

I don't know about smoke but he'll be in a fight as long as it lasts. Gervonta's chin is solid. Never put down and hardly buzzed. He has fun in the ring. No punches wasted. Rewatch the Pedraza fight. It's worth it. Every round is action packed.

And if the plan IS to fight Barrios to get a feel for 140 & then fight Josh I'll be a lot more forgiving of this who gives a fook (imo) Barrios fight, but I still feel like its a easy belt grab or that will be the story after Josh vs Tank isn't makeable cuz of different platform politics &/or Josh moving up.
