All you have to do is listen to the commentary. Vitali is clearly winning. Lewis is just lucky the doctor stopped the fight. Vitali didn't want to stop fighting.

At least with the Byrd loss Vitali is the one who stopped the fight.

Most fighters don't want a fight stopped because of a cut; they'd be pretty crap if they did. Like the others, though, I don't see why Lewis was 'lucky'. A lot of fights are stopped because of cuts. Sure Vitali might have won if it went the distance, but it didn't (is anybody seriously claiming it shouldn't have been stopped?) and that's the end of it. Plus, of course, it isn't as if the fight was stopped in the 12th. Who knows what would have happened in the second half of it?

Wlad can beat every single heavyweight in the world today easily except maybe his brother. Furthermore, he would beat everyone Lewis beat and have an easier time of it. It's not his fault the level of competition is lower today assuming it is which probably isn't even true.

Except Vitali right? He was winning the fight and Lewis got lucky with a punch that grazed the side of Vitali's face which is a fluke shot. Vitali was winning and didn't want to stop fighting. If you listen to the ringside announcers it is clear that Vitali was on the verge of winning.

I think it's time to stop going on about this fight. I'm a klitschko fan aswell and was pissed off at the outcome when i first watched the fight, but it was a legitimate win for Lewis. Klitschko was getting the better of Lennox but he should have been more protective of that cut when it first opened up instead of going toe to toe.
