It was a war, both men got hit big, it was clear it wasn't going to a decision so it doesn't really matter who won rounds. Fact is Vitali's eye was a mess courtesy of a shot, overweight, undertrained whatever you want to call it Lennox Lewis and it was right to stop that fight. If you listen to the HBO announcers on that particular fight, they thought Lewis was on the verge of being knocked out.

Lewis got lucky with that shot that grazed Vitali's face and opened up that cut. I don't think Vitali had ever been cut before.

neither Froch or Lewis got schooled, if you think lewis got schooled then froch also got schooled by the same logic. but the fact is neither of them got schooled, being behind on points is not the same thing as being schooled.

It does mean something because that was the end of Mike Tyson. He didn't accomplish anything significant after that fight.

Except Vitali right? He was winning the fight and Lewis got lucky with a punch that grazed the side of Vitali's face which is a fluke shot. Vitali was winning and didn't want to stop fighting. If you listen to the ringside announcers it is clear that Vitali was on the verge of winning.

Lewis is at a little better than Wlad. And since Lewis is like a top 10 ATG that means Wlad is at least top 20. Vitali is probably better than both of them but injuries prevented him from fighting for 4 years. Plus there is supposedly no good opponents to fight.
