Triller bid more because Eddie publicly said he would bid.
So Teo and Arum both gained cash from Eddies bid (Teo has even thanked him for the bid).

Eddie backed off on bidding on several Loma fights against his fighters so Bob has probably used up all his favors.

As for no Tyson vs AJ would ESPN really stomach that being thrown away given its rumored to be an ESPN only ppv with DAZN only picking up non US/UK rights ... MTK would send round the boys !

Bob wants the promoters to "collude" to keep the price point low! He doesn't want competition at all, thus his heated rhetoric regarding Haymon and Hearn! Haymon never responds in public, so he gets a pass! He won't get that from Eddie Hearn!
And that is illegal. Why the *** doesn't anyone take his license away??? I mean the NAC wanted to ban Nate Diaz for LIFE for smoking weed and taking the 5th against them...

It’s strange there’s no word on this bid from Kambosos. I’m wondering if he’s satisfied with what he’s getting? I don’t like Arum but something tells me this is going to backfire on Lopez. He may feel right now like he won the lottery but at what cost

Yeah it’s good that someone is standing up! Bob is getting more arrogant as he age. Wealthy MF’er don’t have sh_t to do but pick verbal fights with other promoters at this stage in life, he and Don King will never change its embedded in them!

A superior product may produce good profits but controlling the market & fixing prices produces exponentially more.

Welcome to America, land of the non competing monopoly.

He’s probably still hung over from celebrating.

He just went from being the B-side to
Lee Selby to making $2m for his next fight.

Also on another note, I often wonder if fighters like Lopez somehow get told that someone is going to bid a large amount of money for the fight and basically telling them not to negotiate an offer with their promoter and let it go to purse bids. That wouldn’t surprise me if it happens.

He's not blatant about it, but that's his problem with PBC and DAZN. When PBC came onboard Bob complained about Haymon, "He's overpaying, etc.," then him and Oscar tried to sue him, and that failed. Then prices were getting back to normal, and then MatchRoom and DAZN came along, and started "overpaying," and here he goes again! Trust, if Bob has an opportunity to take Eddie to court and ruin him, HE WILL!

Why is Arum trying to scare his competitors into not bidding for fights? That's not how a free market is supposed to work.

                  Scumbag piece of crap.

His manager is on youtube talking to Eddie (at the Canelo fight) about it he seems happy.

Hahaha! shoot I would be doing the same.

Despite of how others feel about this fight, Kambosos has rightfully earned his shot. I just hope this isn’t Taylor/Khongsong all over cause that fight should have never been sanctioned.

Lopez doesn’t strike me as an entrepreneur to have known that another network would place a high bid so my guess is his manager may have been in talks with an outsource
