Hearn is changing the game along with these other new platforms. There seemed to be unwritten rule that other promoters can't bid on fights they don't have a fighter involved in but this purse bid has changed everything.

Lots of other mandatory fights will now end up at purse bid.

Tellin ya man, Eddie Hearn tells the truth. Boxing fans knocking the guy for spitting truth are like Trump supporters hating on ***** who wants to give them health care.
Boxing needs more truth. The Wilder ducking was a real injustice to Joshua, who has shown he will fight anyone and is really trying to unify. Compare that to Fury and Wilder who just talk in circles and don't want it. S**t show with fans of boxing just going along with the bs because that's their guy. Look at Finkel's sour face, look at Wilder's lying and his inability to take his loss like a man. Compare those to Eddie who is as transparent as F00k and Widler who says his costume was too heavy, and then tell me who, in your judgement, who is the liar and who is the one who wants to make stuff happen.
Some good US based boxing channels are now realizing this and to their credit are calling out Wilder's insanity and Fury's recent bs about him not being ready. this is obvious stuff guys.

All these young fighters will think they are worth millions, without understanding the underlying business of boxing.
Maybe some big stars like Lopez will get more millions paid short term.
But long-term everybody will want more money than they are worth and there will generally be less fights for the
prima donna boxers who think really highly of themselves.
