Leave Chris alone, he's the proverbial dead horse no sense in bringing him out to get battered.

Chris seemed very retired when I last saw him interviewed. He was saying he couldn't believe he used to get in the ring. I do think he takes this fight and I think it's Chris last fight.

Helenius or Wallin would be better. An Arreola fight is not interesting in any way.

Shows how bad Ruiz team is just for consideration of PPV . These guys think because he was fighting A.J he’s a draw now . Not just that but throw in Arreola and a long lay off , I think it’s a good fight but I wouldn’t pay more then 10 dollars for it .

Arreola is finished though. Would've preferred a better opponent.
Hopefully Ruiz gets into the type of shape he’s willing to actually get on the scale shirtless. Also without a bunch props that disguises his true weight. Big money is bet on these fights. People deserve to see what type of physique the fighters brought to the table. I know Ruiz never looked like all that much but the point is to be able to measure him against his own precedent. If he’s overweight and does anything less than look amazing against Arreola I’ll be very disappointed. I know he’s been off for a while... but if he has any real desire left he will know coming in trim and looking great will go a long way for him. He knows a lot of people are expecting the worst from him. Like you said I too would have hoped for a better matchup than Arreola. A Joshua Parker rematch would have been the most we could have asked for I suppose. Still with the timing maybe that could happen next even if they both win? Heck if they both lose, they could still fight each other in their retirement fights.

A sensible comeback fight for Ruiz really. A bit more than a tick over really, but gets him back into things. Won’t be a fight everyone is overly bothered about but we all have questions about Ruiz I’m general.
