It seems like you only are remembering round 5 of the Brewster fight. I'll admit he looked robotic almost like Vitali against TOS, possibly because of Steward's tinkering, but not against Brewster.

no, even against brewster in the early rounds he seemed robotic but pretty accurate at the same time

When Steward was Lewis's trainer he said that Wlad had a better straight right than Lewis. And show me a heavyweight of his size with a better left hook. And as for your other question about power. He floored Brewster twice, Mercer once, and Bryd twice, and these are all fighters with great chins.

There is no doubt that Wlad has talent especially considering his size, but he doesn't have a chin or confidence.

A person can have all the talent in the world, but if you have a glass chin, that talent is worthless.

That has to be one of the most futile and idiotic attempts at a rational post I've ever seen. Sanders can KO almost anyone he catches with a good shot, and that's very possible at the beginning of a fight, old and out of shape or not. Now, after that, Wlad's inability to realize how hurt he was is mostly what caused him to be hit that many times with the left, other than that, what happened to him could have happened to anyone. How many true champs get Ko'd like that? ****ing Lewis got KO'd on two separate occasions, both by a single punch, and he's got as many ****riders here as I've got hairs on by ass! If you actually watched the TOS fight, and paid attention to what was going on in Wlad's corner in between rounds, you'd see that Manny was constantly telling Wlad to take it easy, not to get excited, and to just basically jab TOS into the late rounds. Everyone always talks about TOS not getting to the good part of his game plan, well I don't think Wlad did either. Glass jaw? If any fighter took that many flush shots from Sanders, they would most likely be on their back, and probably not rising to their feet like Wlad did, either. i know I'll be labeled a Klit lover for posting this, but I don't care, because what you're posting is nothing but bull****.

When he fought Sanders, an old, outta shape golfer, I thought it would be another easy defense for him. But we all know what happened. Still being a fan of him after wactching him get takin down like the ***** I would later come to realize he truly is, I chalked up the loss to underestimation of an opponent.

Then he fights two non-descript opponents and beats them with relative ease. I'm thinking that he is gonna get back a title belt in a fight against the worthless Brewster. He dominates, runs out of gas and goes down like a ***** again. I was so disappointed not so much at the loss, but at the way he lost. After that I stopped being a fan and have gradually turned into what we on this board so maturely call a "hater".

He has no chin, no guts, no confidence, and no excuses.

Wlad fans please present me evidence of tomfoolery or foulplay in the Brewster fight, cause I haven't seen anything.

Dude, c'mon, give him some credit, at least he was getting up when the ref stopped the Sanders fight, that's got to count for something. Now the excuses thing I completely agree with, but Sanders, old or not, is still very dangerous in the first round for any fighter, the difference is that Wlad got caught, and then tried to fight his way out of it when he was in big trouble, big no-no.

steward was creating hype for wlad when he said that. i think most would agree that lewis's right is better.as far as left hooks go there are not many fighters the size of wlad to compare left hooks with.

Wlad's problem is simple. He lost by a KO. That can be really hard to deal with. You have a whole different mindset when you think your unbeatable and then all of a sudden someone knocks you out. Some people never recover.

George Foreman wasn't the same fighter after his knockout loss to Ali.
Mike Tyson definitly wasn't the same after Douglas.
Michael Grant was completly destroyed by Lewis, he was never the same.

Wlad might get back on his feet and he might not. We don't know. If he does hopefully he does it faster than Big George did.
