I've been saying from the jump that cotto should be the favorite. Obviously I believe the oddsmakers are wrong.

The way u should view pac is a blown up 140 lber who has no business @ 147 lbs. I've been saying this and was against this fight from the jump.

The only 147 lber that pac should fight is pbf, who is a small WW.
YOU did not answer it. How will you view Pacquiao if cotto beats/ko's him?
Las Vegas odds makers know more than bloggers. that is why they are las vegas. this is how they make the money. by getting the odds right. in terms of getting the odds right this year in significant fights las vegas is like 33-6.

If they make pacquiao betting favorit they have good very good reasin for it eh? If they do not know what they do there would be no vegas casinos & odds.

-cotto was overrated?
-1 lb weight drained?
-he was damaged goods by margarito?
-he looked bad vs clottey?
-his punch resistance is gone taken away by margarito?
-he was overtrained?
-he did not have proper trainer by his side?

I cannot wait what the pacquiao haters will say if manny wins.
That is a great question. Honestly, if Pacman wins convincingly either by KO or by unanimous decision. (granted no funny judge business) and all other conditions are right, and the stars are aligned. You cannot take anything away from Pacman if he beats cotto...
-cotto was overrated? - No
-1 lb weight drained? - To be determined - that could be a legitimate argument look at DLH
-he was damaged goods by margarito? No...I think he is a bit more cautious
-he looked bad vs clottey? - No I think he fought hard
-his punch resistance is gone taken away by margarito? - We are not Cotto lol We do not know if Cotto "punch resistance" is gone lol but we can deduce that he will be more cautious...which u can't blame.
-he was overtrained? - I hope not.
-he did not have proper trainer by his side? Sure...he is skilled enough to improve his exsisting techniques...and mature enough to be in a steady regimen.

To answer your question...no excuses for either fighter...is the ideal situation.

So you think that Pacquiao can do to Cotto, with 1 punch, what stonger, bigger and heavier fighters like Maragarito (with possible plaster), Mosley, Judah and Clottey couldn't do in more than 10 rounds and lots of punches landed against Cotto????

How about if Cotto wins, Pac was too small, To much distractions...

Only ignorants will make excuses, like I said before these are professional boxers in the highest level and the outcome will be decided in the ring. All we can do is speculate and debate each other points

• the only excuse for manny pac's side is he bit more than he can chew & that cotto is too big. he moved up too far. but if cotto beats manny in a great fight & both cotto & manny looked great there should be no excuses for pacman. full credit given to cotto.

I agree, I don't want to hear excuses from anyone... Overtraining, weight-drained is bs.. Cotto and his trainer are saying he's in great shape.. The corner however is not so much an excuse as it is a factor.. I think it's Cotto's biggest weakness... He lost to Marg bc of a beatdown but I think him looking like **** against Clottey was a direct result of having a ****ty corner.. If Manny gets in trouble Roach might have the knowledge to adjust and turn it around..if Cotto starts looking bad, he's done.. santiago will not have the answers...

I do give props to Pac to take a challenge and a huge risk, unlike other fighters that don't even come close of risking their status when they are in the top of their game. If Pac wins the sky is the limit. This is truly an international event

So why kill cotto if Pacquiao was the first one of both fighters to take fight. Don't you think you should call pacquiao out for "thinking" he can beat a 147 lb fighter, even though he beat oscar.

• What about when Cotto hits Pac with the left to the body, or when he start timing Pac. Do you think Pac will have the a good chin if Cotto hit him good, cause he will not just stay there looking at him, cotto is going for the kill.
