whether its true or not, cotto should have not shouted to the whole world that hatton is overrated. what if pac blows him away in just 1 round? does that mean he is more overrated than hatton?better this will not happen.cuz if it will, hatton has the last laugh.

I agree with you on the fact that Cotto shouldn't have used the word overrated, Although he's entitled to his opinion and free speach.
I would like for him to say he's not Hatton or that he is even better than Hatton but the word overrated is too strong IMO.

However i must admit something, this the 1st fight that we have seen Cotto so vocal about an upcoming fight. To the level that when in the past he has maintain a low key, quiet profile, people have called him a "mummy" "to quiet", "doesn't know how to speak", "robot", "Arum talks for him" etc....

But now that he finally speaks and is being vocal he is still is been critized. Not every body can be pleased including me, because i would had prefer the quiet, humble, low key profile, but explosive Warrior in the ring. Similar to his upcoming oponent Pacquaio.

Only Hatton fans are getting offended with that remark. In fact after the Kotsya fight he didn't have an important thrilling win. He did have a huge following and big money behind him. A world beater he wasn't, fun fighter yes cause he is offensive but can get hit and hit good
