well, that's still more impressive, considering where manny came from than the horrible pitty pat, no action, snoozefest that floyd put on. That was a horriffic fight. At least manny went out there and beat that ass. Floyd could have made oscar look old like manny did.

He made it look too easy? I've only brought up facts...the man was past his prime, weight drained, and hadn't fought at 147 in 8 years...

It's just that simple. There never was any confusion as to who was the better fighter and had the better resume while both were active. Now, after a 2 hiatus, people are discrediting Floyd's legacy, stating that Manny is the best fighter of this era. Meanwhile, Floyd went undefeated for 10 yrs fighting championship fights, 12 rounders. Floyd was the man before most folks knew what a Manny Pacquiao was. Floyd could fight Kelly Pavlik, toe to toe, for the MW title and still would get snubbed by this crowd. Floyd's skill is a curse it seems. Fights that were 'tooth and nail' for Manny would get diagnosed and solved by the 4 round, if Floyd were the participant. Then as a result of the ease of the fight, it wouldn't be deemed a classic like Manny's fights are viewed. Just imagine if Floyd had been fighting Erik Morales instead of Zahir Raheem. Only classic mentioned would be a classic asswhooping Floyd would have put on him.
