Is Juan Diaz a washed up fighter?

Well? Has all the hard fights took a toll on Juan, as he struggled with a fighter who a shot ricky hatton battered with ease. This was ment to be a pretty easy fight for juan, but virtually all think paulie was robbed.

at only 25 do you feel juan is a washed up finished fighter?

no but i do think he needs a few easy fights before he goes in there with another dangerous/named opponent. id like to see him just get a few wins under his belt and then take on guzman or funeka.

nah he isnt washed up just not as good as most people originally thought including myself. he still has the style to give most guys problems and will probably still win a couple big fights more.

Paulie was always going to be an awkward opponent for him...
I don't believe Diaz is washed up at all, but he does need to improve and possibly move down in weight.

No, but I felt Marquez took something out of him. Even when Diaz was losing against Campbell and Marquez, he really never stopped trying. Sure they wore him down, but he still had the passion to keep going forward.

In this fight, it just didn't seem like that passion was there. I realize that Paulie's movement was pretty good, but Paulie normally folds under pressure fighters. Diaz didn't seem to have that intensity. He didn't come out barraging like he did against Marquez. He didn't try to bully Paulie to the ropes. He didn't throw fast and swift combinations.

no, diaz is not washed up at all. in my pinion, there's always going to be other boxers who give you a lot of problems no matter how good you are.

and i still think malignaggi is way underrated on this board.

Diaz is still really good he just has no power. If he could hurt his opponents hed be almost like a mini Tyson he just lacks pop.
