I'm not a huge fan of Cotto. He's a warrior though and I think Manny is in for a long night. Just for the hell of it. Anybody want a 50,000 bet? I got Cotto. When and IF floyd fight Pac, I'll bet all my points on Floyd.

Cotto will win this fight no doubt.People are making a big mistake writting him off.I also like the idea that he got more for putting the title on the line.It is good to see smart people like Cotto,he didnt allow himself to be bullied.Everyone in negotiating was against Cotto now he will prove himself in the ring, demolishing pacquaio

Cotto will wear down pacquiao's speed with non-stop body shots. After a certain amount of rounds pacquiao's speed will be like judah and malinaggi and that's when cotto will end it. Pacquiao??? You do know this is WELTERWEIGHT, not lightweight/featherweight like marquez, morales, barerra, etc, etc.

I agree with your on your statement about Pacquiao, however I was expecting more from Cotto regarding the belt issue. He had not given any indications from the past not beleive in him (at least in the sport) and at the end he was just bought out.

But, he did say the exact same thing Diaz, Oscar, and Hatton said. That he's too big, and he'll have the physical advantage over Pacquiao. While I highly believe that moreso than ever with Cotto who is an absolute beast and it took forever for another beast to chop him down with cemented fists(Margarito), it would be a huge mistake for him to underestimate Manny's confidence in fighting a bigger man. Manny doesn't care and is used to it. If he let's Manny fight his own fight, Cotto could be in for a long night.
The difference between cotto and those guys are:
Diaz: Cotto is bigger, stronger and faster
Hatton: Cotto is bigger, faster, better defense and won't leave himself open like hatton did.
Oscar: Cotto will move and throw punches, unlike oscar.

in boxing, everybody has a price tag. in cotto's case, he just use his belt as leverage to earn more and i don't blame him for doing what he did.

i think cotto is mad for putting his title on the line at a catch weight. if it was me id of said 147 or no title, if you wanna win a welterweight title then fight at welterweight! if pac wins, then its a very cheap way to gain a title

for sure, cotto didn't just put his belt on the line for nothing. there must be some concession/s on the part of pac or arum or the wbo for cotto to agree to put his belt on the line.
