How do you rate Joshua Clottey?

That's coo...do you think Cotto did a good job fighting him? In your opinion, what could he have done better?

He did one hell of a job for a guy with a bad eye his problem was that he shouldn't have tried to KO clottey because clotteys chin is to good for that.If cotto would have saved his energy and used it more wisely he wouldn't have had to run.No offense to cotto because he doesn't run because hes scared its because hes tired.Cotto did do some f-ed up things to clottey like the slam ,hit to the back of head and attempted lowblow. Clottey could of done better by throwing more punches he should improve his workrate.

Boxing version of the Chicago Cubs. He always chokes in his important fights. Zab and Corrales were washed up. He also doesn't have any type of killer in him. Ike Quartey was a killer. Clottey is to damn nice. I'm also getting tired of him saying Mosley has been running from him for years. I want to know when an offer was put out there.

That will be hard for Clottey to do. If he up his workrate that much he will be more open to counterpunching and his biggest strenght (His defence) will not big as big of a factor.

I'm not going to lie I was a bit disappointed in Cotto after the fight, but I also gave him propz for staying in there and doing a hell of a job with a ****ed up eye. I also think that Cotto runs cause he believe's he has the fight won, but I have boyz that say it is due to stamina issues. All in all, to me Clottey is a great fighter that just needs, as you said, to improve his workrate.

Agreed! He needs to improve his power just a tad bit, and with a decent workrate he would be unstoppable. He is a great fighter that doesn't get the propz he deserves.

Being raised in Chicago I know exactly what you mean (next time could you use another example though...lol). I agree though he could use a bit of killer instinct, but he could be cool about it too like Tito.

this is exactly how i feel. it's kinda frustrating. i don't think it would affect his defense at all, really.
