if you went by what experts are saying, and the general consensus of non-puerto ricans, most believe pac will walk through cotto. Do i think that? No. How is that different than the expert opinions on this fight, or the fan prediction that PBF will walk through marquez? Honestly.

The difference is that cotto and pac are two humble fighters with likable personalities, thus the vitriol is turned down. seriously.

Only thing I have to say about this is we have 4 weeks to go and so far Marquez looks fat and slow.

You have any idea how odds are made you imbecile?

SERIOUSLY. you need to stop going from thread to thread claiming you know more about boxing than anyone in history especially when you make threads like that Calzaghe one.

And for your information, idiot, I've never gone against Floyd. Unlike you "HATTON IS GONNA DESTROOOOOOOOOOY PACQUIAO"

          ****en idiot.

And I don't understand why you think you can judge someone based on their performance when they were half blind. Everyone said Khan's win over Barrera was completely meaningless because Barrera was blind in one eye for three rounds and couldn't judge distance. Well Cotto was blind in one eye for nine rounds and couldn't judge distance. To beat any top 5 fighter in those circumstances is quite an astonishing feat.
I have to give Cotto credit for fighting under those circumstances, but he still didn't prove to us that the Margarito beating didn't take anything out of him. Cotto didn't pull a Nate Campell, but he didn't pull out a dramatic win like Vasquez did in the second fight with Marquez. Or like Gatti did against Rodriguez and Ruelas. Those are different fights, but the same circumstances. And Cotto fought Clottey the same exact way he fought Mosley. Back pedaling in the late rounds and punching off the back foot doing no damage. Whether Pacquiao can make him back up remains to be seen. But if he can he is going to blow Cotto out the water. People need to understand that the only round that Cotto won late in the fight against Mosley was the 11th. I thought Mosley got bad advice from his dad and didn't press like he should have. If Pacquiao hurts Cotto, it's good night.

The only explanation for such odds that I can think of is that the bookies are factoring in the closeness and controversial nature of Cotto's win over Clottey; but if so, that's crazy because Cotto was half-blind for 9 out of 12 rounds. To still pull out the win when half blind for most of the fight, against someone as good as Clottey, is quite an achievement.

And although Pac's win over Hatton was very impressive, Hatton's game plan (if you can even call it a game plan) was pathetic that night, and Cotto is at a completely different level than Hatton was in that fight.

Cotto proved against Mosley that he can cope with very fast fighters; and Pac proved against Marquez that a fighter with very good timing can give him problems.
i think the odds are currently about 2.5 to 1, in favor of pacman.
