Pacquiao-Cotto Tickets: Less Than 1,000 Remain

The thing is this. There are no more tickets available for those sections directly from Ticketmaster, as the article states. What you can find, of course, is from agents and middlemen but you will pay a higher price. The point, however, is that Top Rank will get paid for those seats even if the middlemen are not able to sell them.Well, it is because I would like to go to the fight, and i was bummed that i'd have to spend a grand. I wouldn't do that.
So, unlike you gullible, low-IQ types, I actually verify information when I get it. Sure as ****, there are TONS of $300 seats available.
i challenge you to dispute that. As you would say hahahahahaha. You immature ******.
Also, the cotto-marg fight was 10,477 according to nearly every report.
facts are not a scary thing, ya know.

I rather see Floyd vs SSM but that won't ever happenWell, i respect that opinion. But what is good for the sport is positive exposure.
I think that seeing a mayweather-marquez fight is better than a mayweather-clottey fight. The sport gets another 24/7, etc. And if you are a fan of the sport, you can't be mad at JMM getting a shot at the big time. ...this is more exposure than he has ever had.Comment

That is what is done for EVERY big event. Ticket brokers always cop the seats to turn them around. It is the way the ticket business is run with the proliferation of the internet. The thing is this. Obviously. But then why were you screaming like madman? The information in the article is true. It does not say you can't get tickets; It says that the tickets were sold without specifying to whom. You think TopRank, or the boxers for that matter, care who exactly buys the tickets? Show me what part of the article is incorrect and I will happily admit it.Last edited by Gabilan; 08-18-2009, 04:22 PM.Comment

True. It's a damn shame. Even if I was 1 of only 5 people at the mgm grand that night I would still be there for Pac-Cotto because they both bring it and leave it all the in the ring EVERY single fight.
I could never understand fighters like Floyd or Bhop while having really admirable skills and talent just simply dont give a damn about entertaining the fans so long as they get the W. Then turn around and talk smack about the fans when it's the fans that sign their paycheck.Comment

It says all of the 9,000 seats from $150-$300 are "sold out". They are not "sold out". They are CLEARLY available at those prices. That part of the article is wrong. Ticketmaster is not the only source. Tickets have been commoditized.Obviously. But then why were you screaming like madman? The information in the article is true. Nobody was screaming like a madman. I provided the links and sources and availability for the tickets.Comment
