no, it shouldnt. I only score a round 10-8 without a knockdown if the opposing fighter looks like he is in danger of going down/taking a bad beating and the round is one sided.

although Marquez clearly outclassed Pacquiao that round and won it dominantly, I did not feel like Pacquiao was in danger of getting dropped or was on jelly legs, despite being tattoed by right hands a few times in that round. Marquez could have easily made it a 10-8 round if he was a little more assertive though

Cotto was hitting arms in that round homie. It's the truth. Cotto was also stunned during the final 15 seconds. Pacqiao was getting hit clean in the face with virtually every shot, there is a huge difference, also please stay to the point Champ, you are one of the sensible Cotto fans. You could have. It was a very lopsided round. He attacked, countered when he HAD to, which was rare considering Manny didn't really get anything going. His defense was there, and he controlled the pace. He hit the body and face, and busted him up.

He had all the elements; effective/hard shots, defense, ring generalship, body attack, did the most damage.

Not only did he do all of those better, he made sure that virtually none of it got done to him in return.

Could have been a 10-8, but 10-9 is understandable, especially when you factor in that most thought that EVERY point would count in that fight.
