Well in fairness... sometimes a loss like that can have a negative effect on fighters without them realizing, Roach even said the loss effected him.you are all idiots..
how could he be ruined by mayweather..
have you seen 24/7 and how much he wanted to KO manny
and become p4p 1.. have you seen that desire.. no way a ruined
man has that desire..
cant you see the difference with the way he talks now and back then at 24/7 with pacman..
it was pacman who ruined him..Comment

i honestly dont think Manny has more power. Manny wings punches and ko'd some guys but Floyd doesnt wing punches. his are short and crisp. again. someone fighting Floyd takes way more punishment than fighting Pac so how does Pac have more power?I've been watching boxing for 40 years, am older with a not so great memory, and i joined this forum so I can learn more about boxing, fighters and fights from people like you and others, so i hope you aren't reffering to me as being ******ed.
Let's keep it civil, please.
No comment....lol. Never been much of a Hatton fan.
I think i pretty much agree with you that Floyd would win. He's a fast smart fighter that I think has Manny beat in the speed and power dept's. But Manny has given me reason to not underestimate him. He's got that killer instinct and goes into a frenzy with that love of his to battle hard. It would be a really exciting fight to watch. We will see who wins the Cotto-Pac fight. What do you think if Cotto wins and faces Floyd?
it doesnt matter who wins, neither one will beat floyd. beign that Cotto has shown not to be the same cotto as pre Marg. i rather the guy would will fight harder in every aspect.
cotto retreats after a while. but i would like to see Pac win b/c hes the one who looks "unbeatable" to people not Cotto.
so i want Pac to get in the ring with May coming off a win so May can expose and beat the brakes off manny. Manny is hypeComment

after May beat hattons a*s people said immediately that Hatton should retire...i wonder why. he looked bad against paulie and worse against Pac.I wouldn't say his loss to Mayweather ruined his career... but I don't think it helped either, its kinda hard to explain... like Mayweather beat him pretty badly and you could see it affected him after that... he still wasn't quite the same fighter... but he still didn't ruin Hatton's career by any means...
This aint taking the Pacquiao win away from Pacman, I give Pacquiao full credit... Hatton was unbeaten at 140 so obviously was confident... Pacquiao beat Hatton more convincingly IMO and that is that.
So like I said, I don't think Floyd ruined his career so to speak, but it didn't help either, like it knocked his confidence down a bit and put a pretty big 'dent' on him as a fighter.
This is just me being fair by the way, I aint saying Mayweather ruined him cause I don't think he did... but that doesn't take away the fact that everyone still needs to admit that the loss did have some kind of bad effect on Hatton.
may ****ed up hattons careerComment

Pac destroyed Hatton, not Mayweather.
Why?
Hatton fought a valiant battle against the best P4P out there and was simply outclassed in 9 rounds. He was exhausted and was put down.
Hatton got absolutely outclassed by Pac, got knocked out in 2 rounds and needed medical attention. Was his partner screaming when Hatton lost to Mayweather?
After Hatton lost to Mayweather, he returned. But now he's too busy with his promotional company. He was back in the wrong against Lazcano after 6 months. 4 months have passed since Pac knocked him out and he still want answer the important question on whether he'll retire or not.Comment
