Nonito threw lesser punches against El Torito. The Penalosa's training usually concentrates on precision and counter punches. This made nonito throw lesser punches. This is definitely a less exciting donaire, he's more like floyd mayweather who keeps on running around the ring. This style brings little excitement to the audience, we don't need this style in boxing, it will make people fall asleep during the fight

        1. he can handle pressure fighters
        2. he has the stamina to box for 12 rounds.
        3. a good chin, knowing that conception has power and may come at super bantam weight at fight night.

Cong**** to Donaire and Millegen . 2 bad bernabe is on a blood rush that he didnt heared the bell rang.
I agree with you on 2 and 3..Donaire's chin was tested last night. As far as handling pressure fighters..Darchiniyan was a pressure fighter and KNOCK his ass out. The reason Donaire look bad although he did win that fight, its because he didn't listen to his corner to throw the jab more. He was to busy trying to land the big left hook and try to end the night, instead of throwing more combination. When Donaire threw combinations, it stiffled Concepcion on his tracks, the problem is that Donaire threw very little combination. He threw one power punch after another, instead of setting up the left hook, with his jab and right straight. The only thing i can say that he needs to improve on is to get his guards up more, and learn to have more patience and use his left jab more.

Well said, this fight of Donaire was a reminiscence of Floyd Jr, but not the same precision as Mayweather. Donaire was out of balance at times trying to go for the one punch KO.

Concepcion missed the weight by 5 pounds pretty much. I wouldnt even call that missing weight. That's pretty much saying **** the weight.

Add the rehydration weight to that and Donaire was pretty much fighting a featherweight tonight. Not only did he rock him, but he outhustled him and outworked him.
            good point and well said.

it wont be too long when donaire becomes irrelevant. he broke his hand again last night. retirement will be in 3-4 years. he has no chance of being great. he was awful to watch last night. he like a poor man's version of roy jones.

Don't get to excited just yet. Donaire handled the pressure fighter and took the punches, so we know his chin has been tested, plus he fought a much bigger guy. I still stand by what i said in the past that Donaire has the tools to beat both Arce and Montiel, but he needs to learn from the fight with Concepcion and improve on somethings. He needs to work of his left jab and his defense (get his guards up more). He needs to have more patience and work on some combination, rather than trying to get that one punch KO. Donaire when he threw combination was successful and stopped Concepcion in his tracks. Conception was looking for that left hook all night, but donaire was successful with his left uppercut, the only thing is he should have followed the uppercut with is a straight right and then his signature left hook. There were plenty of times when he hit Concepcion with that left uppercut and Donaire didn't follow up with another punch. It wasn't a dominating fight for Donaire, but there is no doubt he won that fight, especially against a much bigger guy.

He broke his right hand against Mthlane. He broke his left against Concepcion. Its not like he's Malignaggi breaking his hand so many times that it's fragile and irrepairable.
