why don't cotto just get valero??? they both work for the same company and I'd love to see the sparring vid of that. I also wanna hear valero talk **** about cotto after the sparring sessions like valero always does.Comment

It's a good analysis and I respect your opinion.Speed clear advantage Pacman. (agreed)
Better footwork in terms of moving in an out and side to side advantage Pacman (agreed), in terms of balance during the fight and brawl advantage Cotto.
Skills If it's the Cotto who fought Paulie and Mosley advantage Cotto, if it's the Cotto who fought Clottey and Margarito and rely on resting on the ropes, advantage Pacman.
Stronger boxer Clear advantage Cotto.
If JMM was able to land lots of punches against Pacquiao, don't you think that a faster stronger and bigger Cotto will be able to do so also???
By the way, what happened with Cotto's legal team, it seems like they failed to use the belt as a leverage and instead agreed to put up not one but two belts?Comment

As per Cotto's own words on Friday, not a legal advisor or nothing like that. He said that the issue was on his legal teams hands and if that would fail he will have no problem handing the belt. To my best knowledge that's were it's at right now.
If you are making reference to the other thread on this website about the 2 belts on the line, please note that the source is Michael Koncz not Cotto. There can be another thread tomorrow from Cotto's corner saying that the title will not be on the line.
I will stick to what i heard from the Boxer himself, that by the way is the current title holder of the belt and will be the only one that can determine if the belt will or will not be on the line for this fight.
That is another thread that has non official information. But that's good it will only help hype more the fight with all the fans discussing all these prefight issues.
Let me copy this thread and posted on the other thread also.Last edited by prsi; 08-15-2009, 03:06 PM.Comment

You clearly don't know **** about any non-Philipino boxer, otherwise you would know that when Calderon was in his prime, he was undoubtly the best boxer between 105-108 pounds. He is still pretty good, to the point that even after a long layoff, your boy couldn't beat him, who is now a fossil, in a convincing manner.Last edited by PlasticFlamingo; 08-15-2009, 03:01 PM.Comment

That would be a nice matchup to watch, but Top Rank may be somewhat concerned about Valero getting KD/KOd in sparring by a much heavier and more talented boxer, since that would mess with his 'invincible aura'.Comment
