Cotto is obviously not worrying about Pacs power.

Well lets see, he got hit flush against the biggest welterweights. I woudnt be worried about Pacs power either, if he can do somewhat of a decent job timing pacs speed were money baby.

To all people who have written Cotto off

Ihate all these newbie boxing fans, what makes them so sure that Cotto has no chance in winning this fight? I would really like to hear their points. I think Cotto has more advantages in this fight than Manny. He is bigger he is stronger, he hits harder and he is great at neutralizing speed (watch Shane Mosley, Malinaggi, Judah fights) He is at his natural weight class, the 2 pounds should not effect him.

Manny will be fighting a guy who has much, much more power than anyone he has ever faced before, who will be able to push him back all night long. Manny's only chance is to box in this fight as Cotto knows he can out slug Manny, therefore Manny will have to box, run and use his speed much like Cotto did against Margarito, except this time it will be a role reversal.

I love Manany too, but for all the nut hugger fresh fish fans that think Cotto has no chance are just plain delusional. It is going to be a great fight in November and good luck to both guys.

Calderon is a very intelligent boxer and I reckon he'd be good at emulating styles

I think they may be overestimating how small Pac is though

Calderon is a good pick they just need to put a bulletproof vest on him if Cotto is going to be rocking this little guy full strength when they spar. LMAO.

this is a great move by cotto and also calderon. they are preparing to fight similar styles. cotto needs quickness and strategy on cutting the ring and to fight in angles agains pac, calderon does not have the same power as pac but he def has the slickness and quick hands like pac. in the other hand calderon is preparing to fight a guy that is gonna pressure him from the get go, whos better at that than cotto??? is a win win situation here hopefully 2 W's for PR!!!!!

I aint saying he shouldn't spar with Calderon, just what I mean is its a good idea to have a few other sparring partners too... and I mean good ones.
Well I think that maybe they are using Calderon to emulate (which I think he can do) Pac and create angles and make Cotto get use to the speed a well maybe timing him with the jab
