(in response to a previous post) Yeah, low blows are an unfortunate side effect that even the best body punchers slip up on occasion. But Cotto doesn't have a rep for low-blowing, so hopefully this won't be a problem. And neither fighter has a bad rep for dirty tactics, so I'm not worried about it being a clean fight. Neither has any need for dirty tactics, that's one reason i like and respect both so much.

I'm sure both camps are taking things very seriously and are doing the best to prep for this fight, because they are both real bad-asses. I just hope there are no cuts to hamper either guy seriously, cuz i want to witness the awesomeness of both these warriors for as long as they can fight. I've always loved watching Manny fight and to watch him climb up to his present status is indeed to be respected.

At the same time, Cotto has been through hell and back, and has been battle-hardened. And has much skill also to bring to the table. Both guys have a chance to win, but i still pin my hopes on a Cotto win. And i can respect a Pac fan that can also give Cotto some credit for his accomplishments and not bash him, cuz i don't bash Manny, he's definatly earned my respect over the years. Hope it's going to be a good clean fight that lasts a while, and neither guy gets seriously hurt, cuz both can hurt. Bad, too. May the best man win.

What some people don't realize is that Cotto is not slow either. He has fought very fast and quick fighter swith good hand speed and has been able to out box them and evenmatch their hand speed. Paulie, Judah and Mosley are all fighters that have great hand speed and the experts thought that would affect Cotto and it turned out to be Cotto who surprised the experts on how quick he turned out to be also. Even Mosley admitted after the fight that he was surprised by Cotto's speed not to mention the commentator of that fight.

That Cotto is faster than Pacquiao?? Definately not. That Cotto will be able to land shots to Pacman, Yes he will.

BY the way, you did mentioned lately, all I have to say that lately, more so never has Pacman fought a strong fighter with skills like Cotto. DLH is the only won who come close to that on Pacman's resume but not the DLH that fought Pacman.

Pacman will lands his shots Cotto will do so also and whoever wins i guarantee you something it will not be a DLH or Hatton onsided fight.

i agree, cotto is no dela hoya. cotto is also bigger and stronger than hatton. and definitely this will not be a onesided fight.but in terms of speed, better footwork ang skills, i'll say pac has the advantage. cotto is just the stronger boxer.
