I think I know what PBF's position will be on why he's a bigger cash cow than Pacquiao. Even though Pac/Cotto will sell better than PBF/JMM he'll says PBF/JMM sold better than PAC/JMM.

I made a post about it last week pitting both UFC 103 against Floyd vs JMM.
Based on the under card, many of Floyd's supporters are assuming the flood gates are going to open to see Zab Judah, Chris John, and Rocky Juarez. But I'm not too sure even the 24/7 shows are going to sway people into buying the Floyd fight truthfully. I think he oversold Marquez's drawing ability because of where he's from and Floyd himself doesn't have anywhere near the following that guys like Cotto and Pacquiao have. Most of Floyd's fans consisted of front runners who are now riding on Pac's coat tails. The die hard Floyd fans are daily coming up with reasons why he can't sell on his own, or why he isn't fighting this or that guy. All that's going to be laid to rest soon enough.

Trust me, after Nov 14th, I think all of this "Im THE draw" talk from Floyd's going to abruptly stop. The jig is up.

I don't see Floyd doing any kind of numbers that anyone is going to care to talk about. There will be no surprises when the sales come back on the extremely low end. I wonder what the excuses will be?

          It will be something. LMAO.

I hope he doesn't disrespect JMM's drawing power after their fight in an effort to explain unimpressive #s.

Why anyone would compare a Mayweather/Jmm to Pacman/Cotto PPV-wise is beyond me, of course Cotto/PAC will outsell any fight this year but so??? What's that got to do with us if Mayweather wins and pacman wins??? I don't care who gets what as long as we get to se the fight and if we don't then so be it.

This is not an effort to discredit either fighter.. it has to do with negotiating Mayweather/Pacman. The point is that the megafight will pend on whether or not the two superstars can negotiate a contract. The results of these two ppvs is gonna create even greater conflict/subplot for the bargaining table. As we know Mayweather believes he deserves more money and frequently cites his sales for reasoning. As everyone has pointed out he is likely not to outsell Pacquiao. Which means the plot really thickens regarding getting a May/Pac fight signed on how the split will look.

If Pac wins, beating a bigger man than him who PBF is said by many to have dodged and outsells PBF.. It's going to be hard for PBF to have any leverage in negotiations. PBF is generally so sharp with positioning himself in regards to business I don't see how he's letting this develop into a situation that does not benefit him at all.
He's gonna say, I KO'ed the man that beat Manny twice.
