PBF/JMM or Pac/Cotto.. Which will sell more PPV? Unofficial Poll!

PBF/JMM or Pac/Cotto.. Which will sell more PPV? I think most fight fans believe Pac/Cotto will have the more exciting action but.. We have to remember the general public is a little more acquainted with the persona of Floyd Mayweather Jr.. Also, PBF is a beast on those 24/7's.. so after that, the excitement may be through the roof to see Mayweather. I think the final PPV figures will be relatively close but I'm wondering who everyone picks to sell more. Poll to follow!

Pac-Cotto easily, they will have a 24/7 AFTER the Floyd fight anyway.

PBF/DLH sold just over 2 mil ppv buys. Dumb question but was that worldwide or US?

Well.. Supposing PBF and PAC both win setting up the mega fight.. How is PBF going to claim he's the cash cow or that he deserves the better part of the split if he gets outsold? If Pac wins, beating a bigger man than him who PBF is said by many to have dodged and outsells PBF.. It's going to be hard for PBF to have any leverage in negotiations. PBF is generally so sharp with positioning himself in regards to business I don't see how he's letting this develop into a situation that does not benefit him at all.

              Pac vs Cotto easily...

I have friends who aren't remotely into Boxing who called me to set up party plans for this fight...and mind you, it's still 3 months away.

When I told them about the Floyd fight, they replied with "Ummm...and???"

That **** is going to sell out quick and could easily pull 1 Mill PPV buys (which in these days is sayin something)

Pacquiao has ten times the drawing power of Floyd. That's without a tough guy villian act either. He is entertaining in the ring as opposed to running his mouth and throwing money around.

If I'm not mistaken there is also a big UFC fight sometime near the PBF fight as well.. The chips don't seem to be falling well for the Money Master in 09 so far.

Floyd Mayweather is a joke. He is a technician in the ring. I admire his ability. But I can not discuss boxing with fans of his. Atleast the die hard ones who seem him as a perfect being with no faults and unable to be defeated by even God.
