A- Williams doesnt have a defense, ley alone B-Hop type defense, to neutralize Pavlik punches.

B- he donets have the craftyness nor the power that Mosley have.

Williams throws needs to throw his usual 100 punches per to be efective and eh will leave himself open a lot.

The only equation hear is Williams chin, if he can take Pavliks punches he wins a UD.

Dont say, he just needs to do this and that, because so and so did, because Wlliams doesnt have the tools those other guys have.

pavlik didn't exchange with Miranda or taylor, he let them get off and fired his jab to set up his right hand. he basically walked thru them and neither of them has the output of Williams. Pavlik is gonna have to exchange, he can't wait for him to stop and then get off. Winky tried that and got mopped...Pavlik has to throw with him or land something that will make him think. Skill for skill, williams supersedes pavlik!

Peterson is delusional, they might just be talking to throw off Pavlik. No way I see Williams just standing their, he does gives alot of angles as he punches but he is gonna have to move more against Pavlik. Kelly is not just a 1-2 puncher. He does use the uppercut when its available to him and body blows effectively. Both fighters even when they get hit good they keep aggressive its gonna be a sure action fight

williams threw atleast double the amount of punches that taylor did and it was against a winky wright that had not had a fight in about 2 years and as far as the bernard winky fight i always said that bernard barley landed any punches it was just a bunch of grabbing and headbutts but bernard was clearly hitting kelly for all 12 rounds

Williams is like a pitcher. He switches speeds on a lot of shots. I sat ringside for the Winky fight and let me tell you, when PW did decide to put some power in his punches, Winky felt it. Damn, I could almost feel it. I have no doubts he could stop plenty of middleweights but he doesn't always put a lot of power into his shots. Most of them, anyway.

I did punch output analysis on Wright after he fought Williams because nobody on here wanted to give him credit..and guess what? Wright's total output was within average for all of his fights going back to Mosley I. Layoff or not that was a game Wright.

Hopkins threw the most punches since his LHW foray against Tarver in his bout with Wright.

Taylor is weird. He looks powerful and shows flashes of it, but sometimes it don't look like much.

how many punches he threw is irrelevant.....he gave wright, who's just a naturally hard to hit guy, a beating. nobody had ever done to wright what williams did that night, he even hurt winky a couple times.....

Paul Williams is going to win this fight. A knockout may be a tall order but Paul Williams WITHOUT A DOUBT...DEFINITELY BEATS Pavlik!!!

After this fight Pavlik will be a distant memory, just like Jermaine Taylor and Edison Miranda!

All Pavlik has is a straight one-two and absolutely no lateral movement. Paul will expose him similar to the way Hopkins has, but with throwing an extra 40 punches per round...

man please, williams almost got ko'd by a slow ass margarito in the few rounds that margarito actually competed. pavlik is also slow but has a lot more power than that. so who knows what's gonna happen.

For all we know, Wizzers might have a China chin (especially after that Margs war) which is just ready to be blasted by a solid Pavvers right hand. I like Williams n' all, but I'm rooting for skinhead here because I still like the guy and I feel sorry for him being shat on by everyone so badly after Hopkins.
