Im not going to get into the fact that it was a stamina issue for Klit, but a 6'3" 260lb professional boxer with 27KOs, is a hard puncher. Hes got real good power, but hes slow so he doesnt land alot of flush shots. Not talkin ****, but since you responded to my post Im seriously curious, Have you boxed with Ross?
Has he knocked out anyone any good to be called a big puncher?
He didn't get any leverage on his punches,he didn't have speed, his technique was so flawed....Puritty was a good tough journeyman but no big puncher.Definetely not.
Thats not what i said at all, I like how everyone jumps on me like Im all up Klits ass. His chin isnt granite, but let me rephrase this he isnt getting knocked down by light punchers. Im trying to stick to the topic of Wlad-Holyfield, and all the punchers who put down Wlad hit at least as hard as Holyfield.
I would put Holyfield's power over Brewster and Williamson honestly, and maybe even Sanders.
Blah blah blah.....the same line of BS they tried to sell Peter McNeely with. Ross Purrity is a joke and Wlad's an even bigger joke for losing to him.
BTW, weight does NOT make a fighter a hard puncher.....I've seen WAY to many big guys who couldn't punch for ****e (Mike White, Primo Carnera anyone?) and too many small guys who could. I've used this example many times: Mike Tyson usually weighed in as the smaller man for his championship fights but only a damn fool would argue that he wasn't a harder puncher than practically all of them.

And no I haven't boxed him.I've seen him fight.
This is kind of going in a circle, he has knocked out the best HW in the world. He does have real heavy hands, but I agree on the speed and technique, and thats the reason for the lack of KOs against top competition.

Yes because the best HW in the world has a weak chin. Thus not necessing big power to knock him out.
I don't consider Purritty a big puncher or anything close to one.
And size doesn't have anything to do with it or else Zuri Lawrence would have knocked someone out in his life.
