And this fight here is Shane Mosley's loss in my view. He isn't getting a piece of it because it is promoted by Goosen and Arum, and he had a $3 million offer to fight Paul. He probably isn't going to get a fourth of that to fight Clottey. And HBO is giving $3 million for Berto and Mosley to split down the middle. That tells you that the best and most lucrative fight for Mosley that was realistic was with Paul Williams. Homeboy lost out. And Mosley probably would've gotten up to 3.5 mill if he would've entered negotiations to fight Williams. Because the first offer by Goosen was an initial one. I like Mosley, but it was a duck. Plain and simple.

Pavlik is gonna slaughter Williams 7th rd KO. Anyone that thinks Williams has a shot is completely insane. Williams doesnt have enough power to hurt pavlik and he leaves himself really open when he lets punches go. Williams doesnt have a great chin, Pavlik will win this fight without much trouble!

This fight between Williams and Pavlik is the only one I'm interested in for the rest of the year besides Marquez-Floyd. And I'm interested in that fight because I'm a fan of JMM. But I think of all the big fights that are scheduled for the rest of the year, this is the hardest one for me to call. I'm not biased either, and I'm a fan of Williams and Pavlik.

I really, really hope this fight is on the east coast. This is a harcore fan's dream. PW agreeing to fight Pavlik is commendable. Wow, I guess he really will fight anyone. While I think he's catching "The Ghost" at the right time, Pavlik should be the favorite here. That said, my early pick goes to Williams who I believe will outbox Pavlik and possibly stop him on cuts.

sorry
Kelly is too slow. Paul hits harder than you think and he's gonna let his hands go more than Hopkins did.

Williams was cut over both eyes in that fight, and I don't know how much of a factor that played in his defeat. I just think that was Carlos' night, and Williams would've lost anyway. My overall point is that Williams cuts easily.
and Carlos Quintana fought perfectly. Paul didn't take Carlos seriously
and Quintana was on his A game. but I think since that fight Williams
has been doing a great job of improving. Williams may or may not
cut easily but the most important thing is that he knows how to fight
through adversity to the end. Williams KO'd a guy at 160 already
and Pavlik has been wobble and dropped by guys before but Williams
hasn't EVEN when he has been tagged flush. Again, if Paul Williams
fight his fight and neutralize Kelly's power then Paul beats him.
