They don't particularly do it in the way of who beats who... they mainly do it in order of the better fighter in more than one way, in terms of skill, dominance, achievements, etc. So Floyd is easily, probably top 10 most talented fighters of all time... but he can't suddenly be put there because he has yet to prove it... its about what you achieved, resume, talent, dominance, etc.
Please answer with all hate aside.

Im not talking about numbers. Im talkin bout ass whoopededness.
Not a resume conversation. Not comparing just giving proper credit.Let me just say this one thing. You think it was pushing it that Mayweather moved up from SFW or 130 and then beat an old, close to shot Oscar and a bad champ in Judah and Baldomir at WW?
Do you even realise that Duran started at what would be Super Bantamweight or 118, moved up and beat Ernesto Marcel, then won the lightweight title and unified against HOfer Ken Buchanan, then jumped 140 and moved straight to WW to fight one of the top three ATG WW's in Leonard and beat him? A guy that was much bigger and much younger? How does that compare to what Maywether did? It doesn't. Duran stomps those accomplishments.
First of all he would beat Arguello and Trinidad to a pulp. And who the **** is Harold johnson? Do you even know? Put your list up damn thief.Maybe you can just update this list :

Mayweather is one of the best fighters I've ever seen step in the ring. But as much as I like Floyd I won't deny that his resume sucks for a fighter of his caliber. I wouldn't say he'll mop the floor with those fighters in fact I think he'll struggle with them but I still see him winning.Comment

Pep: No. Pep was basically a "Super-Mayweather." UD 15.
Chavez: Maybe, but I don't think so. This fight happens at 135 and we saw what happened when Castillo got to him. Chavez was Castillo but better. SD 12, Floyd could maybe win the rematch.
Duran: At 135, Duran wins. Mayweather's got a shot, but I'd definitely pick Duran. At 147, Mayweather wins hands down.Comment

No hate at all but you cant get Floyd to fight the best we have currently. Had they been in the same generation Floyd would be making excuses about something.....
Duran and Chavez would beat him silly.... OMG. can you imagine the trash talking between Duran and Mayweather???Comment

Mayweather would dominantly embarress all three. Chavez was another Baldomir, but smaller. Duran would have lost exactly the way Hatton did, they were mirror images. Pep was just another infighter, didnt you guys watch him fight Jesus Chavez?
based on Mayweather's fight against Henry Brussels(who was better than all three of them), he would slaughter all three.Comment

Duran is just another Hatton? Are you fcking kidding me he is one of the best defensive/offensive fighter of all time. I never understand how people can see how defensively gifted Mayweather is and not Roberto Duran. Even Sugar Ray Leonard who has one of the fastest hands said Duran is so hard to hit. Duran works you on the inside like Andre Ward, he doesn't just hug. Hatton on the other hand is a bum.Mayweather would dominantly embarress all three. Chavez was another Baldomir, but smaller. Duran would have lost exactly the way Hatton did, they were mirror images. Pep was just another infighter, didnt you guys watch him fight Jesus Chavez?
