Duran works you on the inside like Andre Ward, he doesn't just hug. Hatton on the other hand is a bum.
    sigh.

    Im thinking you missed something.

Not a resume conversation. Not comparing just giving proper credit.

First of all he would beat Arguello and Trinidad to a pulp. And who the **** is Harold johnson? Do you even know? Put your list up damn thief.

i like how its progressed over the last 2 years to jcc being just like baldomir and duran being just like hatton (in one fight only though apparently)

I have to be honest here and say no..Those guys were animals,I believe Floyd is a great fighter who would make his name hold weight in just about every era..But Duran was fast great foot work and hit like a hammer Floyd has never faced a fighter like Duran..

JC is Margas or JLC to times a mill,I don't see how May would have been able to deal with ths..Chavez also was a very underrated boxer,he used an effective jab and his workrate was off the charts..

Pep is a fight were May does match up well but this would not be easy for either fighter..Pep has shown himself to be tough as nails even tho he did not have a great deal of pop he always got his opponents respect..Close one to call imo the toughest one out the three names ya named..

Side note..Pryor is another guy I felt would have beat Mayweather..He also was ducked a lot threw out his career...

Thought it was interesting considering a lot has transpired since then. Feel free to excuse yourself.

I will. A student is always learning.

@Blak Irish-Never said Hatton was just like Duran. If you wanna call me on something then lets be honest. Sounds like ur ridin your buddies coat tail. Anyway Floyd even in 2011 would totally punish and embarrass JCC and ****in Pep. Duran would be a tougher fight but walking away a victory. SRL beat him running scared. And Lost trying prove he's mas macho. Floyd would be a happy median. Didnt Duran quit once? Maybe thats another Duran? Dont try to leave that bit of history out. Didnt Hearns destroy him? Its way more logical for me to see Roberto getting beat considering those two defeats were opposite in style and just as effective. Great resume, not as great in the skill department. Your tunes will change soon enough. To me its kinda like when people tried to argue that Louis would whip Ali. Not a chance. My question is would you really bet the house on either of these guys beating Floyd? Honestly. Iwould certainly put up big money on Floyd vs either. If it makes you nostagists feel any better I think Ray Robinson has a chance at victory just on power.LOL

Now thats a name to throw in the pot. Stylistically Pryor would give Floyd a harder time than either of these guys to me. He can eat punches and throws a lot of punches. He still might need his special water tho. Good analysis. I can agree to disagree. You guys have goot to get over Pep tho. Thats the arguement that shocks me everytime. No fighter without some pop will beat Money especially in the lower weight divisions. Back then when he realized you couldnt hurt him he got mean unlike now, hes more apt to pot shot and outclass opponents.

Duran had the balls to fight the fighters he lost to in their primes and at they best weights..As we know fighters don't do that anymore(not mentioning any names)..

Chavez Sr was pretty big so I'd give him a good shot against Floyd. p4p Floyd was better, although his resume isn't.
I haven't seen many Pep fights so I wouldn't know.
ROFL.. u give chavez a shot and not duran?
ones entitled to his opinion. but chavez wouldve been pot shotted all night..
duran on the other hand would have chased mayweather outta the ring. may wouldnt step foot in there with him.. duran was a huge LW.. i dont know much about pep
