Floyd never fought elite boxers. Duran fought a guaranteed hall of famers in their prime. Floyd always win in a theory, mythical, fantasy fight. but when its all said and done. once Floyd retired for good, his greatness will be judged by the opponents he fought not the opponents he would have beaten. with the resume he has right now he would be lucky to rank in the top 50 ATG's once he retired for good.Comment

TS should realize that when it comes to fantasy matches, what you always get are fantasy results.Comment

The fact their atg has to do with their accomplishments more then wether who they could or couldn't beat. Styles make fights, and sure the could lose to anyone.I have looked at a few atg lists and I see some names that are consistently in the top 25 to 30.
-Duran
-Pep
-Chavez Sr.
Im not picking on them because they are not the only ones. But really, doesnt Mayweather mop the floor with these guys. Lets take that down a notch. Thats my personal opinion. OK doesnt he beat all three.
Honestly, I don't think Mayweather could beat any of them in their prime thoughComment

Never fought elite boxers?Really? And 50 aint bad at all.Floyd never fought elite boxers. Duran fought a guaranteed hall of famers in their prime. Floyd always win in a theory, mythical, fantasy fight. but when its all said and done. once Floyd retired for good, his greatness will be judged by the opponents he fought not the opponents he would have beaten. with the resume he has right now he would be lucky to rank in the top 50 ATG's once he retired for good.
Dont understand your response
Thats all I asked. I just happen to think the opposite. I do think Mayweather is the best to ever lace up if that clears up why I say he beats these guys. Any fight we discuss that hasnt happened yet is fantasy. So why is it always a problem to make fantasy comparisons when somebody picks Floyd or Zags to beat peoples favorite ATG's.Comment
