no imo i dont think he is crap to watch he is always pressing the action and ya he may clinch a lot or whatever but he doesnt back down and that is probably one of the reasons he is shot now but when he was in his prime he was absolutely thrilling to watch and no matter who hatton would have been fighting his fans will always turn up to support him becuase thats the kind of following he has
Ricky Hatton: "Floyd Mayweather Jr Can't Sell Tickets"

I'll do a translation for you Americans.
''I want one more paycheck, help me Floyd''.
Once somebody beats your ass in the ring, you have no business talking about their ability to sell a fight as they proved the thing that actually matters, who is the superior fighter.
In a street fight, Floyd would handle Hatton's ass. He would get counter punched with bare knuckles. You under the delusion that Hatton is tougher that Floyd because he grew up on the ( forgive me for laughing) mean streets of Manchester.in a boxing ring over 12 rounds with a ref in his pocket maybe. Don't kid yourself that Ricky wouldn't go through him for a shortcut on the street or in a bar.Comment

Yeah since Floyd fought them in a stable economy, Just watch the Live Gate attendance and the PPV results against Marquez and you'll see why they postponed the fight.hatton never faught on ppv until he faught pbf and that did more than hatton vs pac. and better than pac vs marquez. floyd vs de la hoya did better than de la hoya vs pac and cotto vs margacheato combined. so how the hell does'nt pbf have drawing power. looks like he made everybody more than they usually make for a ppv fight.Comment

He didn't need a pay check when he stepped in the ring with Pacquiao. Didn't stop him from taking the clown costume out the closet. [semi-sarcasm].hatton needs no more pay checks you kidding me? he's made plenty of money and now his promotion company is startin to get fighters he's fine and needs no more fights if he does come back it'll be because he misses the lime light
If I'm going to be truthful, I think Hatton still believes he can be the best ( A hopeless dream for him) and part of him would like to rematch the man who put fear in his heart.Comment

De La Hoya is in a class that's all of his own and I see him as one who appealed to fans regardless of nationality.
Be that as it may, it might be worth some note that while De La Hoya and Margarito are Mexican, Marquez, who figured in the year's lowest earner, is too.
I am not too sure what that means.Comment
