This is one of the ******est comments i've read in this forum.....so basically what you're saying is, if Mayweather wasn't so good he would be in the biggest fights? And what about the Pac wins against those 2? What did their careers re-incline just before Pac fought them?

hey let me ask you something to help educate you. if mayweather had 4 losses and wasnt in the top 10 of the p4p and he tried to fight the #1 p4p fighter do you think it would do big numbers??? because dlh could still draw even though he lost many times. i know for a fact no one would even care who mayweather was if he ever lost a fight because right now people don't watch him to be entertained. they watch to see him lose. and once he does get his ass knocked out there will be no reason to care. if mayweather were a real fighter and a true warrior with some honor and dignity like pac cotto hatton dlh gatti etc then the fans would keep watching no matter how many times he lost. look how gatti could draw even after he lost to bums. this is just plain and basic common sense.

I dont think you know what your on about buddy ,IMO Hatton has a huge varied fan base ...with fans from as young as 7yr olds to 80 yr olds ..hes done more for boxing than mayweather ...hes made so many fans start watching the sport again !
i dont think we will ever see another fighter in MMA Or Boxing with a bigger more varied Fan base than Ricky Hatton has !
Lets see ether the UFC or any other boxer put 56000 fans through the gate to an event ..or 20000 fans abroad just to watch a weigh in....fcuk me the ufc can only get 20000 fans to go watch lol

You're probably right, but if it does well the same people here saying that the fight wouldn't do well will say it's because of Marquez, or there was no other fights on, etc. Basically excuses that Mayweather had nothing to do with the fight selling.
