mma fighters dont go 'deep' in any skill set they use.

the best mma wrestlers would get beaten by the best Olympic Wrestlers, the best mma boxers would get creamed by the best pro boxers, etc...

they will go 'waist high' in a variety of styles, but they never go far in one particular style. and thats what 'deepness' is.

In terms of wrestlers and Ju Jisu fighters in MMA they have elite guys in them disciplines. When it comes to boxing especially they have waist high skills thats for sure.
