If you want to say it is just a mediocre win, you are a hater and just ignorant....

****k facts bull**** stats whatever you wanna throw at me, they are both 2 of the best fighters in the world pac has proved he can hang with the WW guys. If cotto wins it is a great win because pacquiao is a great fighter in his prime.

Why is he forcing Pacquiao to moved up to welterweight...when Pacquiao weightclass is 140?

What does that win mean for has legacy...
Should he just have fought berto or williams?
It means that Cotto is smart
It means the same as Floyd forcing a lightweight to fight closer to the WW limit than fighting at 140 or 138
            It works both ways punk

              Does it mean:
1.That Manny Pacquiao was the world's top junior welter but we found out against COTTO that he was no better than top ten at 147?

2.That he beat a fighter that didnt belong at Welterweight?

              3. That Cotto should have fought Berto, Mosley, or Williams instead of picking on Jr. WW's?

              4. If Cotto wanted to fight within the Welterweight limit than he should have fought a WELTERWEIGHT! and if he wanted to fight Pacman the fight should been at 140, a weight thats his Pacquiao weightclass.

              5. That it was a great win reguardless

It means the same as if Floyd were to beat {Pac except that Cotto got it done while getting bent over
A really good win over a really good fighter P4P

1.Pacquiao challenged cotto not the other way around,So cotto does not have to move down-Fact 1

2.Cotto if to defeat Pacman,he defeated the best fighter in the world but a small man none the less so the fight is to not be braught up as a card for cotto if he is to go into another fight.

let me clarify,You wont be able to say "well cotto beat pacquiao" because it will mean very little in the retrospect that pacquiao is not half the size of floyd, clottey or shane and deffinately not williams who needs to stop being a lil B*TCH and accept the fights from abraham and pavlik already,he freaking started at middleweight to begin with-Off point but you get the real point.

roby_acer, Cotto did accept to go down because just like any other fighter--Cotto wants a big payday.

a cotto win IMO would be dreaming because hes got about 0.000001% chance. Cotto is a very good boxer, but hes no better than hatton, and the people will see that soon. A guy who cant fight for 12 rounds might aswell accept the loss on his resume now. id expect cotto to fight for about 7 or 8 rounds, boxing well at times, but then cotto will get smashed because he will have about as much power as a 1 litre metro in the latter part of the fight.

just my opinion, and if i turn out to be wrong, i dont give a fcuk anyway!
