As far as I'm concerned, the only thing that has Pac in this fight is speed. Pac has a good chance of having his power nullified early too with Cotto being in with plenty of bigger punchers and durable punchers. You can argue Shane, Clottey and Margarito are at least true 154 lbers fighting at WW too.

Your extreme bias makes you look like a 12 year old. If the result of the fight was certain, there would be little point in the fight being made and it would generate little excitement. Instead it's a megafight. Most respected boxing analysts think it's a pick 'em fight. Cotto's timing did neutralise Mosley's speed, and Marquez's timing did neutralise Pac's speed. Anyone who thinks they know for certain how the fight will turn out is a delusional idiot. But if Cotto does manage to win, it will be because his timing and accuracy neutralises Pac's speed. Any objective boxing fan would be able to see that, it's just stating the obvious. To accuse people of being stans or 12 year olds because they point out the obvious fact that if he wins, it will be for that reason, is childish in the extreme.

Oh please, I'm not a Cotto stan.. I call them like I see them, and for me this is like Margarito v. Cotto in a sense. Plaster or not, I called that fight accurately, and I see the same thing looming on the horizon for Pac.

Everybody thought Cotto (who had just got going at 147) was going to get rolled by Judah and Mosley and when he overcame the both of them, he became boxing royalty.. despite both already being on the slide at the time.. much like Manny with Oscar and Hatton (both looking vulnerable upon bouts with Pac).

Then you had Margarito who was at the time fighting all the giant welterweights and beating them if not making it close... just like Cotto is now.

My argument for that contest was Tony fighting the bigger and tougher fighters would get him passed Cotto.. and I was right, plaster or not.

I'll take the tried and true that has been in wars at the weight at this point over the noob in Manny. As long as Cotto's jaw isn't showing signs of plaster abuse, it's hard for me to see him lose with the adversity he's already been up against.. and already beating speed 2x.

Just watched Manny vs Oscar and Cotto vs Clottey (HD .mkv files) side by side on my PC. Manny makes Cotto and Clottey appear as if they are fighting under water.

Also, Manny's pace is just relentless; makes Cotto-Clottey look like a sparring session.

Well in one fight you have a prime fighter vs a past his priime weight drained fighter. In the other fight you have 2 top WW in there prime.
