Against Manny Pacquiao, his problem will be speed. I'm telling you... watch a recent Cotto fight side by side with a recent Manny fight on your PC and you will see the clear difference in speed.

You can't compare because of who they were both fighting. Do you think Cotto would've had a tough time with that version of Oscar and Hatton? I think Oscar was more than happy not to fight Cotto even after his loss to Margartio.

That's the problem with how people are looking at this fight. You have to look at the style match up and not so much of what they did to their previous opponents because Mosley, Margarito, and Clottey are much tougher oppositions than Oscar, Diaz, and Hatton. That's not even debatable. But even with that said, Im looking at the fight based on what both bring to the table, and by no means is this a walk in the park for either guy.

WTF!? A Cotto hate thread?..Not on NSB!?? This is sooo weird... I don't think Cotto's biggest challenge will be speed.. I think it will be his corner.. I'm still giving Cotto the edge.. He's technically sound and strong as an ox.. I think he fights alot better vs smaller fighters and I think Zabs speed is comparable to Pacquiao.. The one fight he did lose, he tried to outpower a guy that was bigger and stronger than he was.. It's easier to see and evaluate speed on tape because you can't see power or chin.. If Pac wins though it won't be a huge surprise, however I doubt it will be as easy as rick and dlh.. If Cotto times Pac like JMM did he's not going to stun him, he will KO or at very least get a KD and KO him later... If Cotto gets in trouble though he's done.. He looked confused in the Clottey fight at times and his corner had no answers and Joe Santiago said they have alot to work on

I agree but I also think Cotto is quick. Throws counters very well and can get in his shots and move. His problem is his defense, not his speed - it's why he got beat by a slower man in Margarito and not a faster one in Mosley.
