Oscar wants to be Mexican sometimes, so does Fernando, but their parents snuck across the border long before they were born!

I would have to say it is a toss up between Salvador and Chavez.
Depending on if you want to go by long careers or not...

Anyway, my all time mexican p4p list goes like this:

      1. Salvador Sanchez
      1(t) Julio Cesar Chavez
      3. Finito Lopez
      4. Carlos Zarate
      5. Marco Antonio Barrera
      5(t) Eric Morales
      7. Ruben "Púas" Olivares
      8. Raúl "Ratón" Macías
      9. Miguel Canto
      10. Pipino Cuevas
      11. Alfonso Zamora
      12. Lupe Pintor
      13. Chucho Castillo
      14. Juan "Kid" Meza
      15. Humberto "Chiquita" González

Other notables: Daniel Zaragoza, Juan Manuel Márquez, Miguel Angel González, José Luis Ramírez, Jorge "Maromero" Paez
      11.
WE have about the same list Morancito...except I'd put Olivares and Canto maybe a step higher.

Not Olivares. The six boxers I have ahead of him are positively better, imo. Now with Canto you might have a case. Was tempted to move him up a spot or two, but Olivares and Macias are two of the most revered Mexican boxers of all time. That had a little to do with it.

Almost 100% sure Duran is half Mexican.

Top 5 Mexican fighters of all time.

                      1. JC Chavez
                      2. Salvador Sanchez
                      3. Ricardo Lopez
                      4. Ruben Olivares
                      5. Carlos Zarate

Thats not including Mexican/American fighters like DLH, Tapia and Carbajal
