Now drop this nonsense. This is no political thread. Lets focos on boxing. I think Wlad is one of the most underated hw champs in history, mostly because he is one of the very few non-American ones. Americans like to have the monopoly there, in the heavier classes, since in the lighter ones Mexicans and Puertoricans largerly dominate. And Europeans dominate the middle divisions currently.

Moorer was also one of the more underated champions in this division. He came at an unconvenient time. He beat Holyfield but his victory was marginalised when it was discovered Holy had a heart problem. And then he lost to a 45-yearold in embarrassing fashion. But people forget that he worked his way up from lhw and beat some tough guys like Alex Stewart and Bert Cooper. Later he also beat Botha and Schulz.

But back to Wlado, he definitely should have more acclaim coming to him. He fought and beat all the best fighters of the decade that wanted to fight him, except Sanders. I believe he would beat him as well if they had a rematch. He's got great skills for a guy of that size and speed as well. He's bigger than Lewis and yet just as skilled as he was and faster than he ever was.

Larry Holmes is the most underrated heavyweight champ I've ever seen. He could do everything and fought some incredible fights, but he never got mentioned among the Fraziers and Foremans where he belongs to be mentioned of that era.
