Is Wlad the most underrated hw champ ever?

Considering he's beaten most of the other strap holders and seems pretty solid right now is his past reputation and some fans hatred of the best hw right now the reason so many underrate him? I think if you compare him to Lewis Wlad looks just as good as the last dominant hw champ.

I'd say Larry Holmes is the most underrated.

Wladimir will always be a worse version of Lennox Lewis.

Holmes is considered a top 10 hw ATG I wouldn't call that underrated. Also Holmes for one reason or another ducked some of the best hws of his era. Who has Wlad ducked? The only top hws he never fought was Lewis and his brother from his era.

        Short answer? No.

He will never be highly thought of until he beats a great heavyweight, and that is not likely as there are no great heavyweights at the moment, except maybe his brother. Lewis went and avenged his losses, but Wladimir has only avenged one. That's a shot on his record as well.

Wladimir's era is way to weak to make him really great.

It don't matter who he fights.

And I've seen some people not having Holmes on they're top 10 lists but that's on them.

Corrie retired after Vitali beat him so it's pretty hard to avenge that defeat. I think he did come back for a payday against some unknowns but no way he wants Wlad at his age. And ol' ross purity was a journeyman that got lucky and the networks would never finance the rematch. He avenged a defeat to a solid hw who beat some good fighters along the way and he did it by dominating. I wouldn't hold that against Wlad.

Wlad has stopped something like 14 fighters who were never stopped before. Who has Lewis stopped that had never been stopped before?

Wlad has never been counted out, Lewis has been counted out twice.

Wlad has more KOs. He's defeated more heavyweights who were ranked in the Ring top 10 at the time he fought them.

Wlad has taken a lot more "0"s: Brock, Peter, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Castillo, etc.

Lewis had an even greater reach advantage over his opponents (including Vitali) than Wlad, with his 29" arms and 84" reach.

Lennox's biggest wins were over the past-prime Tyson and the past-best Holyfield.

Lennox often resorted to dirty tactics (holding opponents arms, kidney punches, deliberate heat-butts to open cuts over the eye) while Wlad has won his fight fairly.

                    It's about competition...

                    Lewis had Tyson, Holyfield...

                    Ali had Frazier, Foreman...

                    Klitschko has Valuev, Rahman, Chagaev...
