        Matter of facts bums from back then could of be champions this days.

        His fiht with lupe Pintor was sick.

        They went toe-to-toe till Gomez stoped him in the 15th round, **** was sick,

        his fight with nelson and others were great!!!!!!

          Tito had 16 consecutive succesfull Title defenses. Alot of UDs and ****.

          Gomez analihated averybody till he faced Chava sanchez.

          17 straight Title defenses by KO is no joke. PLus the guys he fiught during the streak.

          Again Im sorry but Tito wasnt better than Wilfredo Gomez!!!!!!!

            wow wait a minute didnt Tito had like 15 or 16 straight defenses and what a resume Camacho,Pernell,Odlh,vargas ,Hopkins Roy jones Jr,winky wright,Campas, 45 wins and 2 losses, I have a lot of respect for Gomez and Benitez but I think Tito fought better competition all around (just my opinion)

                Uh...no.

                You must be young and I understand you love Tito but Gomez was the best PR ever, period end of discussion. The guy was a beast, his resume was sick and his fights were legendary.

                Tito never really had a defining fight IMO. I thought his best fight was his battle with Vargas but I wouldn't put Vargas up there with the competition Gomez fought against.

                I also think that Tito lost to DLH but was given a gift. Nothing wrong with losing to DLH because in his prime he was one of the best at that weight.

                I repsect Tito but talk to the old timers and they will let you know, Gomez was the best PR has ever produced and I think it will be a long time until we see a fighter like him again.

                    Gomez by far!!!! Tito was great, but he didn't have the skills that Gomez , Benitez etc. had. Tito= Lots of power but very limited skills.

                      Tito had 16 consecutive title defenses, but Gomez had 17 and all won by KO, a fit only done by him in the history of the sport. Plus Gomez resume isnt a joke either
