  • Mayweathers have small balls

Isn't he the mayweather who predicted that Hatton will KO Pacman? Oh c'mon, would you still take his words?

If it's that what they think of Cotto, then no wonder that PBF did not fight Cotto. His statement confirms that Mayweathers have small balls. Way smaller than a 3-year old.

I doubt Manny will stand his ground to shoot uppercuts against Cotto, if Manny has a chance in this fight is moving in and out before Cotto can throw.

      • I dont think it is so far fetched to tink that Cotto could blister Pac's ass. The only reason May Sr said that about the Hatton fight is because he was his trainer. He may not be the greatest trainer ever but he is pretty good. Hatton got hit once and went back to the same ole snit. If Cotto sticks to his game plan and boxes for 3 to 4 rounds then he can unload in the middle rounds. Some how I dont believe Pac can take the punishment that Margarito took.

          • Mayweather Sr. is a F******* S*** talking nonsence again....

If he is the one to train Cotto well the fight is done and it will sure end up in just 2 rounds.. Cotto a Puncher, & Hatton is a Puncher too... LOL

            Mayweather Sr. is only daydreaming.

I agree with you that Cotto has had problems with the uppercuts but this has been while exchanging close shot with his oponents and i really don't think that Pacquiao will stand in front of Cotto and exchange, it would be more likely that he will bring a similar game plan like he had against DLH. Get in throw punches and get out.

I'm sure you're right about the game plan. The knock-out scenario, although unlikely, IMO, is not impossible though, if Cotto tires in the late rounds. If Cotto tires, Pac will start to set himself to throw power punches.

                  • Mayweather Sr. acknowledge Pac to have a lot of balls to face a legit WW champ in Cotto.....that is the reason Mayweather Jr has been avoiding Cotto like a plague......He just does not have the balls to face Cotto.....

It's funny how people keep throwing around stats like weight and punching power and body shots. Does anyone know how Tiger Wood's drive distance compares to the other pros? Or the club head speed of his swing? No, because it doesn't matter. He's a phenom. He kicks ass based on sheer talent and intangibles. Honestly, Pac doesn't move like a man but like a cat or some other wild animal.
But, boxing is so much a part of minority culture, and I say that as a South American (Ecuador) that no Mexican, Black and especially British fan wants to admit that the best is a non-American, a Filipino. Sure the Filipinos think he's God, but instead of praying for someone to beat him so they'll take him off the pedestal, why not just enjoy the amazing run of victory and boxing prowess put on by a true champ. If he beats a smaller guy it's because that guy was smaller so it doesn't count. If he beats a bigger guy it was because that guy was weight-drained and dehydrated, so it doesn't count. Does that sound logical to you?
Don't buy in to the 'hater' mentality. Because, the truth is if he had a dad that was half white and half Mexican, and a mom that was half black and half Asian and he smiled like De la Hoya and talked trash like Ali it wouldn't matter what his record was--you'd be all over his sack. And, please, if you're going to make predictions base it on something other than 'uh, Cotto's bigger,' or 'duh, Cotto hits hard'. Well, Shaq is like 8 feet tall and Allen Iverson is super quick but Jordan would twist their asses up wouldn't he?
Your argument doesn't make sense at all is people like you that don't want to admit reality, yes pac is a great fighter in my opinion not one of the best. He is riding on the wins vs old dlh remember first dlh was old and second he was dehydrated and weak if you don't realize that and accept it then you must be on crack. Now onto hatton tell me if hatton was really good before facing pbf??? he was never good and pbf knocked him out and he was done after that do you remember the hatton vs lazcano fight??

In reality pac has only beaten a really good old fighter notice old there which is JMM and also notice when i say beaten I mean a gift by judges. The morales and barrera version he beat werent the prime versions the prime morales and prime barrera would of destroyed him specially a prime morales who also beat him the first time of the 3 fights.

Conclusion is pac is good no doubt about it but the media and people like you make him seem like he is the best one in the sport. which in my opinion is marquez and PBF even though i don't like pbf he is good. I just can't believe people are picking pac to beat cotto and specially by ko specially boxingscene **** it makes me question their boxing knowledge. The way cotto had troubles with clottey which in my opinion he lost is not gonna happen with pac because pac is not a tough, tall welterweight. Cotto should win the fight by ko but it might be hard due to the weight and how he got battered by clottey, if the cotto that fought margarito and mosley show up the night of the fight he should ko pac in about 3-5 rounds.
